Update!

Working on ordering materials... My samples of the sealants have been arriving and I've been applying them to my hydro-cal to-scale models as they come in... Thank goodness for samples, some of these "sealants" are waxy versus actual food grade sealants. So far I've received a Seal-Dit from a mold making company in Ohio that supposedly says this seals all porous materials including plaster. The next is Seal-Krete. The original is supposedly food grade. But that's only for horizontal surfaces and I need one for vertical. So. I'm testing out a gloss sealer for horizontal surfaces that isn't listed as food grade. I'm going to call today and discuss with the company.

As for the mold, I've made a to scale model in Rhino and am waiting on my MDF to arrive to set up a date on the large CNC machine with Mike. Some issues I've worked out with that are how to get the wood inlay space.

I've been meeting with Ted Kennedy (owner of the bar I would be hosting the dinner at) and trying to budget out how I'm going to expense hosting a dinner for around 60 people. What might have to happen is that I stage a dinner where I only invite a certain amount of people, document that, and then show the documentation of the eating experience along side the products in the gallery. Working out those details....

This week is gunna start getting very hands on and busy with starting to assemble the table with a trip to Fingerle's to pick up my mahogany for the benches and inlay and legs.
