Above is the sketch of the new drawing I am currently working on, and to the right is the start to that drawing. It will be of an intense storm (part of a series I am beginning) out of charcoal. It is about 6 ft. long and 4ft tall. I drilled a large board to my studio wall and tacked the paper up on it to use as a smooth drawing surface.
