Progress

So I've been working on this 6 paneled, triple layered lithography print. And when I put the third layer on (not displayed)... it looked terrible. So I'm going to put this project on hold until I figure out something else to layer on top. (Paper is expensive!!)

Below is a photolithograph with a lavender lino cut.

I forgot to post this on the blog, but this a skirt I made for the recent IP consultations. I printed a lithograph onto fabric and made a skirt with cut pleats. The fabric I used was from bed sheets I bought at Kiwanis.

This is a close-up.
At one point, I was interested in producing apparel for IP that had lithographs printed on them. While I do like this skirt (and I'm excited to wear it), I no longer want to make apparel. I'm glad I made this and got it out of my "system".

I still want to be open to the idea of printing on fabric / other non-traditional materials, though.
