I have been working with different materials to figure out what will successful inflate. These are two models.
Model 1: A plastic lining with an outside layer of polyester.
Model 2: Just polyester lining.
Result: Both models inflated. Due to this result, I will be creating a 6 ft. x 8 ft. wide pyramid out of just polyester over this next week. I think it is important to make a full scale model in order to make sure that it will inflate the same way. I have also been working on a pyramid that is made out of the plastic material. The plastic shape is made and I will be getting a fan on Monday to see how it inflates. Whatever the outcome of these large scale models are, will determine the materials that will be used in the final project.
