Aw crap

I forgot to post last week and I'm a little late in the game this time. The good news is that I've been making lots of progress and also encountering the typical frustrations that accompany progress. I've begun printing the 1st zine, which will be making major headway this week. I discovered some issues with registration, but I have come up with a solution that makes EXACT registration not as important as it was. Also, I have decided to make the designs of my next zine more like different parts for backgrounds that can be swapped in and out, so I won't have to design intricate layers for each page. I got this idea from two test prints that I happened to do on the same page. I plan to do colored backgrounds/patterns/shapes with simple black illustrations on top. I'll probably take this route with the third zine as well.

2 layers of printing, unfortunately to be redone (due to lapse of judgement in using 2 colors on a very thin font which makes people wanna puke reading it if it isn't absolutely perfectly registered)

This upcoming week I'll be spending time fixing up my portfolio, printing it and then printing my zine like a lunatic this weekend. I want to have it finished by critique which will be probably impossible, but whoooo knows.
